Jaxon construction contracted Tree Care WA recently to undertake the removal of two large Eucalyptus trees located near-by buildings in Crawley. Both trees were within confined areas overhanging several story apartment buildings on either side. During the site inspection, all site-specific concerns and restrictions were outlined, addressed and a solution devised to utilise a large crane that would hoist the dissected sections into an area for mulching and removal. By utilising a crane, ensured the works were undertaken in the safest possible way whilst also ensuring all established landscaping, gardens and nearby buildings were not damaged in the process.
Prior to commencing, Tree Care WA personnel underwent site safety inductions and our administration staff provided Jaxon’s HSE coordinator with our comprehensive safety systems, procedures and SWMS for approval.
On the day, both trees were removed without incident by our professional climbing arborist and skilled crew members on the ground. During the works it was important not to disrupt the neighbouring residential properties access requirements whilst also ensuring the works were completed in a timely manner so as access to the construction site could be reopened for deliveries. Both requirements were achieved without incident and on time.
